Best Music Videos Remembered Part II

A while ago I did a  post on the importance of remembering music videos.  I think it’s about time for part II.  I started this post with all intentions of covering various music videos but I came across one so good it deserves it’s own post.  Let’s see what we can learn from N’Sync’s I Drive Myself Crazy…

Now this video is about being driven crazy from hurting that one special girl. After realizing what they’ve lost, the boys are taken to a mental institution to deal with their problems. Obviously it’s routine for mental institutions put five  men in silk robes and wife beaters in one room together.

Is there any other way really? And to make it more authentic to show us watchers that they are in fact at a mental institution, they featured some of the other residents staying there.

I mean nothing says crazy like a big black man in rabbit ears. Obviously this proves the reality of it and we are 100% sure this is legit.   Now this is where it starts to get a little weird. Like I mentioned earlier, these five crazy guys are locked in one room together (with their silk robes on of course) and JC starts to get a little fresh with the white wall:

I don’t know about you but I don’t want to know what he’s thinking about while he’s petting that wall.  While JC is being a weirdo, Joey starts to creep on Lance.

And if that’s not enough, Chris makes JT cry.

With JT crying, JC takes this opportunity to show off some fancy dance moves (which seems inappropriate with JT crying and all):

But seriously, what is Joey’s problem? Why won’t he just leave Lance alone?

Oh wait, he does leave him alone to creep on JC.

So let’s recap: Chris is making JT cry, Joey is creeping on everyone, JC is dancing around but it looks like someone is throughly enjoying their complimentary institution slippers:

The real question is did they get the help they so desperately needed??

I’de put my money on no based on that picture. Sadly he still had a pineapple on his head after he left treatment.

Weekend Recap

Does anyone else feel really guilty leaving the house now that the Olympics are on??  I feel like anytime I’m not in-front of the TV watching the Olympics I’m being a bad person. I feel like work should be cancelled the week the Olmypics are on! Very American of me right?  Despite the guilt, I did manage to get reluctantly leave the apartment a few times this weekend. Thankfully I did because I saw Batman (on a local billboard)!

Friday night was date night! As you all know I have a Groupon addiction which means I have a tendency to buy each and every Groupon that comes across my inbox.  Since it was my month to plan date night I decided to see what Groupon’s I had waiting for me. I won’t  ever tell you just how many Groupons I still have waiting for me but I’ll tell you I had my fair share to pick from. I decided to go with a wine tasting for two at Paolas Vinum.  The Groupon included 4 various Spanish wine flights with a bread and cheese plate and  some type of chorizo sandwich.

Bread + cheese + wine = my life.  Literally.

The weather was perfect so we sat outside and enjoyed the wine. The service was really awesome. All the waiters knew more about wine than I know about anything and they were all so attentive.  The place itself was really modern but casual and we would definitively go back. The location kind of sucks (being in the West Loop) but it was nice to have a long walk after eating and boozing.

The rest of the weekend was spent watching the Olympics and being heartbroken that Phelps didn’t even medal in the 400IM.  How crushing was that?  It’s OK Phelps, remember I always have a shoulder you can cry on. Since we are BFF’s and all….

Holla! We made it through yet another week- TGIF right? Especially because that means Friday Searches!

• “Wooden spoon” (I don’t get with the “” is there…)
• 15 and pregnant (Quality people read my blog.)
• Caffeine face (What is that?)
• Does Justin Bieber have a vacation home in Maryland (I wish.)
• Funny clogged toilet sign (More quality people reading my blog…)
• My son has os trigonum is it okay for him to play soccer (Ask Dr. Chin yo!)

The best one this week is actually the worst. People, when I read this, I got SO mad:

• Air blowing on me during exercise makes me sick

NOOOO!! The Fan Lady is reading my blog!  I’ll beat you one day fan lady, you just wait.

You already know I have an obsessive personality.  When I like something, I obsesses over it until I can’t stand it anymore.  Here are a few of my latest favorite things ever.

1. The Inbetweeners

If you haven’t watched this show you need to. It is seriously one of, if not the funniest show I have ever seen. PartyDog has already seen them and he still dies at each episode.  Think of the most appalling, uncool, trying too hard guys you knew from your high school and multiply them by 2032.  Add this to your Netflix instant queue NOW.

2. Peanut Butter Puffins.

If you see me instantly put on 10lbs it’s because of these.  In terms of cereal, Puffins are great for you- low in sugar, calories and gluten free but that’s not the case if you eat 13 handfuls in one sitting.  That’s one serving right?

3.  Big Brother 14!

I love this show, with all my heart and soul.  A bunch of pretty people locked in a house with nothing to do but dress up in stupid costumes and participate in stupid challenges on national television = hours of entertainment.  I’m still unsure how I feel about the coaches aspect but watching Boogie lose the coaches challenge last week when he thought he won made my life.

4.  The weirdest 24 sleeping positions of dogs. Why wasn’t this picture of Gingerfoxxx’s dog Waffles on there???

That picture gets me every time.

5.  20 bizarre pictures drawn by kids. This one is my personal favorite:

How great is that? I cracked up for at least 15 minutes looking at that. I wish I drew that for JT when I was younger, he would never of let me live that down. I’m cracking up just typing about that picture.
