A Number of Things
1. I need to stop brushing my teeth after I put on my work clothes. Maybe this can be added to my list of 2013 resolutions? It’s only Wednesday and I’ve already come to work with toothpaste all over my shirt twice.
The worst part is…. I sorta notice the toothpaste before I leave the house to go to work and I decide not to change…
2. I’ve been branching out with my wine choices lately. Yesterday we brought home Iron Man wine:
Definitely like it BUT it’s $12.99 which fits into my drink occasionally price point. (TJ’s $5.99 wine is more I like it.)
3. PartyDog went to our fave Weber Grill where I got something that actually rivals with special salad. This was da bomb.
It was the corn bread croutons that did it for me. They are zero calories, trust me.
4. I finally got to try one of the Karyn restaurants! I went to Karyn’s Cooked with Em and Linds where we enjoyed brunch. I got boring oatmeal (if there’s homemade oatmeal on the menu, I order it). Definitely not one of my faves but it was still fun to have a date. Here’s a pic of my friendies more exciting dishes than my oatmeal:
5. Speaking of Linds, she’s leaving for the Goofy Challenge tomorrow! I bribed her with good luck presents to meet up with me for lunch so I could see her one last time before she’s off to run a half-marathon on Saturday and a full on Sunday. Wish her crazy butt luck!
It’s almost gross how in love with her I am. Almost.
6. I’ve been making slow but steady progress at decluttering! This weekend PartyDog and I donated 7 bags of clothes to Goodwill. Anything I hadn’t worn in a year went in the donate pile-no ifs, ands or buts.
I honestly can’t believe we had that much stuff to get rid of… hoarders!
7. I’m already tired from going through all those clothes which leaves me a little less motivated to get the rest of my house in order. Decluttering is hard work. Must…stay…motivated…

Good luck to Linds! One of my friends ran it two years ago and I did the half with her and 9 miles of the full…anyone who does it is a rock star!
I really need help decluttering my life. Okay…mostly my spice cabinet.

I want to try Weber Grill. There is a smoked salmon salad on their menu that looks super good! And I did a bad job with the thumbs up in the pic from Saturday.

yes, resolution #1 – try new things, go new places.. I x- country skied for the first time last weekend. I’ve never skied before.. ever. I only came back a semi cripple but would totally go again!
I could totally use a closet purge like that.. the only thing I can say is that I’ve been much better about not throwing my clothes on the floor every day..
Keep up the good work & wine drinking!

Cornbread croutons?? Sign me up. I made cornbread on Monday and was reminded once again that there is no bread better than cornbread. Obsessed.

Thanks Kels!!! Seeing you yesterday seriously made my day– especially considering how awful I felt in the morning!
Good for you for donating all that stuff- my to-donate bags are still sitting in my closet.. need to do that!
Also, cornbread croutons sound amazing!

Cornbread croutons sound amazing!! I like Karyn’s restaurants, but I don’t go to them very often! I was recently at Karny’s Cooked, but I want to go to Karyn’s on Green soon!

My biggest resolution this year is get our spending under control. We’re still within our monthly budget, but we’re only a third of the way through the month.

I still need to make a few resolutions. I’m behind in life, it seems.
And I’m with ya on the budget wine. I don’t spend more than $8 unless I’m trying to impress. All class in this joint…

Aww I want to go to brunch with you all!!!! And I’ve been having to clean out my room in case my parents move (so not going to happen) and it’s exhausting!!!

I am so over resolutions! You have to try the other Karyn’s restaurants now!!

Ughhh I wish the TJs in Rhode Island carried wine!! But we have a law where you can only sell alcohol in liquor stores
I get so jealous when other bloggers talk about how good it is!
