TGIF

Has this week felt SUPER long for anyone else? I am seriously so happy it’s Friday. TGIF FOR REALZ PEEPS!  The only thing that would make this Friday better is if  Two Guys a Girl and a Pizza Place came on at 8:00 like it used to. Doz were da dayz. Time for the fun stuff:

• “inappropriate for a 45 year old man” (Uhh I don’t even know how to respond to this.)
• can you feast after workout (Is there any other way?)
• crying people (This made me crack up.)
• i just goat pure mwi (????)
• johnny (HAHA-Who’s Johnny?)

Never a dull moment on there that’s for sure.  Today I have a nice gif for you because I’m feeling less creepy for once (weird right?):

Weekend plans?!

Y2K IS BACK

Sometimes our building turns off the water for a few hours to work on the pipes. Typically they do this during the night when nobody is really using the water, but yesterday they decided to shut it off from 8 AM- 4 PM. Which is fine with me because I’m at work. PartyDog however works from home.

The drama all started Tuesday night when PartyDog told me I had to be out of the shower by 7:40 AM so he had time to shower. No bigs (or so I thought) considering he could be in the shower while I did my makeup/hair in the mirror.

7:40, Wednesday morning rolls around and like I was told, I was done by 7:40 which gave PartyDog ample time to shower and get ready to go to work-in the living room where his computer is. And time for us to have this conversation:

Max: So I guess I’ll have to take a long lunch at Panera or something today since I won’t have any water to cook lunch.

(Silence, because I want to see where this is going.)

Me: Tell me more about this ‘cooking’ you do at lunch.

(Max heats up a can of soup on the stove every single day for lunch (not the kind you need to add water to).)

Max: Well you know, I have to have water with my lunch.

(Silence again because we have a huge water filter in the fridge that holds about a gallon of water.)

Me: We have the water filter in the fridge that holds a lot of water…

Max: Yea, but I’ll need water to cook my lunch.

Me: Again, tell me about this ‘cooking’ you’re doing at lunch. Are you adding water to the soup?

Max: No.

Me: Why do you need water to heat up a can of soup?

Max: (Silence) I need it to clean up after.

Naturally this conversation had me dying by the end of it. Sometimes men are so ridiculous I can’t even handle it.  BUT this is not the end of the story because after we had this conversation, I walked into the kitchen to find tupperware containers filled with water sitting in the sink!

Seriously, is this Y2K?! I spent the entire day on Wednesday making fun of PartyDog for going all Y2K for not having water (but having more than enough water) for an 8 hour period.

And for those of you wondering, yes he did go out to lunch because he didn’t have water to ‘cook’ his soup.

Too Stressed to Post

Guys I’m too stressed to write a post for you. I’m currently watching American Ninja Warrior. Does anyone else watch this?? PartyDog and I watch this every year and I swear the obstacles get crazier each time we watch it! Sadly our favorite competitor David Campell didn’t even make it past the first round because it was that hard. (David Campbell is like the Michael Jordan of Ninja Warrior.)

If you’re not familiar with Ninja Warrior it’s basically the most extreme obstacle course anyone can possibly do. It’s really interesting to watch because it’s just normal people, most of which are really into parkour.  I swear some of these guys are real life spider man….

So yes, we’re currently watching the second round of American Ninja Warrior and I’m so stressed out watching these guys. Lots of screaming, clapping and mouth covering happening over here. Back to the show…
