A Little Late…

Nothing like talking about Christmas over a week later and in an entirely different year….. This post may be a little late but I do want to share with you some of the fun gifts I got this year! Santa was very good to my busted self.

My stupid Ninja warped so I have been making smoothies in my food processor.  While it definitely works, a weird feeling comes along with knowing I used the same thing the day before to mince up some garlic or onions.  To avoid smoothie cross-contamination, my beautiful parents got me this beautiful blender!

In sticking with the kitchen theme, I also got this fun new bowls:

I hate when things around the house are too matchy-I like each thing to have it’s own unique personality so these are so perfect since they are so colorful!

PartyDog knows how I love to have my lady friends over for excessive amounts of wine so he got me these super neat wine coasters from Etsy!

And don’t you worry, he got me a gigantic wine glass to try them out:

This picture does not do this thing justice-It doesn’t fit into my cabinets it’s so big so it just chills out on my kitchen counter.  Which is fine considering I need it every evening.

Another thing I got that I need every night:

Slippers bring me so much joy, you have no idea.

The most beautiful thing I got however was this:

How badly do you want that plate? It’s absolutely breathtaking.

This was all I had the motivation to take pictures of…. I was tired and just wanted to put everything away but I got a bunch more crap.  I also got a gift certificate for a massage, some clothes, a purse, some other gift cards and other miscellaneous things that I really love.  Needless to say I was spoiled rotten and had a gr8 Christmas!

A Few of My Favorite Things

So it seems as if every blogger right now is doing a “my favorite things” type post. Clearly that means it’s time for me to do mine.

1. Designer Petwear. When wouldn’t this come in handy?

2.  Kitty t-shirt. Now that I’m a city girl it’s critical I stay up with the latest fashions.

3.  Guys and Trolls 2. The first one was so good I can’t wait to start the second!

4.  Squirrel underpants. Is anyone else offended by squirrels and their nakedness?

5.  Super Babies: Baby Genuises 2. If it’s super, I want it.

6. Pet tornado. I’ve wanted one since I was a kid but my rude parents never actually got me one.

7.  Good Burger movie poster. Now that Kenan is the star on SNL, I can see this being worth $$$$ some day soon.

8. New running sneaks. I’m in need of some extra arch support.
